NAV

Returns

Net Asset Value. The current estimated value of a fund's investments, net of liabilities. Because PE holdings are illiquid, NAV is an estimate based on the most recent valuations, and it can change as markets and businesses evolve.

Example

A fund's NAV rises when its portfolio companies are revalued upward between investment and exit.
