RAG
Retrieval Augmented Generation. A technique where an AI model retrieves relevant documents and uses them to ground its answers, reducing hallucination. In PE, RAG lets a model answer questions about a specific data room or portfolio company.
Example
A RAG system over the data room answers only from the actual contracts, not from the model's general knowledge.
